Thank you for:

1. Them winning! Three of my students were chosen as winners in Pratham's Mumtaz Embroiders Her Dreams Contest. I gave the contest topic and asked them to write on it. I sent 25 entries. I did not think they would win when I saw such wonderful articles submitted. But, today the gifts came! One of my most struggling kids, and a new student won. The third winner is a brilliant girl. I feel so proud.

2. The dinner at my favourite fellow's place. I feel like she is like my elder sister. Despite being out of home for dinner, for so many days in the week, I still had to say yes. I am glad I did. Although, very honestly, I didn't have much fun, I conveyed to her my feelings.

3. The visit to the orphanage where I went to drop my old clothes. When I saw the place, I knew what I want my school to look like- it is a place right in the middle of the city- a bustling suburb- yet felt like a different world.

4. A chance to get to know Payal. I thought she was wonderful. I learnt that I should get to know people, not listen to others about people.
