Thank you for:

1. My first cake:

I baked my first cake today. I starting baking cheese-y dishes, then cookies, brownies, bread, loaves and finally today, after I got some confidence, I baked a cake. It was a simple raisin cake- eggless as usual- and was good. I topped it with oats and sugar (although today is my 'no sugar day') and already ate several pieces!

2. The no-scare: We had a scare yesterday. It has gone today. 

3. My uncle (and my cousin): They came home today. My cousin is in Mumbai for a few days hence they decided to visit. My uncle is one of the best persons I know (and I have often wished if he could be my father) and his visits always leave us happy and light. Today is also his birthday!
