Thank you for:
1. Sue: Today is Sue's Birthday. She invited me for lunch with some of her friends and we had a great time. Before, I was leaving I wrote her a small letter and was recounting all the good things that we share. I am thankful that she has forgiven me so many times and has had so much patience with me.
2. Knowledge: I happened to read a magazine article the other day on impatience. It said that the generation of today is turning out to be very impatient owing to fast paced technology. Although, I knew this all along, the article just reinforced it. It said that impatient people tend to put off difficult work as they do not get instant results. It is true for me. I have now begun taking the longer route just to ensure my mind is slowing down again.
3. Shopping Spree: My younger sister and I went shopping to buy some really long pending things. We were at Mangaldas Market and were looking for materials. One man directed us to a store that had exactly what we were looking for. We bought everything from that one shop. We were ecstatic.
4. The Almond Tree: It got a trim today because it has become enormous!
5. No mass: My mum did not want to go for mass today, so for the second time in my life, I missed mass without guilt.
